Jeannie “Beannie” Ann Souther-Jones, 34, of McColl, SC passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021, at her residence.  She was born May 15, 1987, in Scotland County, NC, a daughter of Ray and Betty Ann Souther.  Jeannie was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bennettsville, SC.

Jeannie was a District Support Manager for CVS.  She was a dedicated employee who treated her customers as friends and did anything she could to meet their needs. She will be missed by her colleagues and customer friends.

Jeannie loved her family.  Anyone who knew her knew that she adored her precious Harper Lee.  She would do anything to support and make sure Harper knew how much she was loved.  Together they were a dynamic duo!

With a heart of gold, Jeannie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She never met a stranger.  Her infectious personality was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met.  She added a special sparkle to life that was unforgettable and was appreciated by everyone she met.  Life was never dull when Jeannie was on the scene. She will truly be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her and being her friend. 

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Mike Jones of McColl, SC; a daughter, Harper Lee Jones of McColl, SC ; a son, Brayden Jones of Bennettsville, SC; a brother, Lee Souther (Laura) of Asheboro, NC; a sister, Julie Strong (Michael) of Cumming, GA;  nieces, Reagan Strong, Caroline Strong, and Hannah Gilchrist; nephews, Fore Souther and Coby Collins.  She is also survived by her father and mother-in-law, Michael and Charlene Jones of McColl, SC; and her brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Stephanie Jones of Bennettsville, SC.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Burroughs Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 16, 2021, at First United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC.  Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery in McColl, SC. 

Nothing would please Jeannie more than for memorials to be made to honor and benefit Harper. Jeannie Souther-Jones Memorial Fund c/o First Citizens 314 East Main Street Bennettsville, SC 29512.
