Bennettsville, SC

Mr. Robert Francis Hines passed away Friday, August 14, 2020 at his residence. He was 73 years old.

Mr. Robert was born in New Haven, CT on January 19, 1947 to the late Robert Francis and Lucille Clara Hansen Hines. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Bennettsville and attended Bethel United Methodist Church. He was retired from the state of Florida, where he worked in the rail office, he also worked for Food Lion in Bennettsville. He enjoyed railroading, riding trains, time tables, reading books, enjoying life, and devoted his time to the Marlboro County Humane Society, where he took care of his cats.

He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory; wife, Leslie Hines; brothers, William “Peter” Hines of Florida and Robert Loller (Diana) of Longs, SC.
