Dear FUMC Family,

This coming Sunday, June 21st, we will regather in our FUMC Sanctuary for the 11 am Service of Worship. The Sunday School will not meet until further notice.

These decisions are made with hope, prayer and planning.

We will have sanitizer, masks and gloves available at the entrances to the Sanctuary. We request that everyone attending sit in accordance with the social distancing prescriptions necessary to minimize possible contagion. The usual entrances and exits to the Church will be available. Ushers will monitor and assist as necessary. Child care for children 5 years of age and younger will be available in the same classroom we traditionally use during Sunday services.  Children older than 5 years of age are encouraged to be seated with their parents through the service.

The worship service will look a little different than what we typically follow as our choir will not be seated together and congregational singing will be minimized. Our focus will be on prayer and proclamation from the Scripture.

This Sunday is Father’s Day and we will present every Father in attendance a small gift as a way of thanking them for all they do. We will also collect the Epworth Offering that was originally intended for Mother’s Day. That offering will go to support the wonderful work of Epworth in the lives of many children.

We hope you will be able to join us if you are healthy and able to attend. Should you have any questions please call the office at 843-479-3231. Finally, remain vigilant in prayer as Sunday approaches. Together, and with God’s blessings, we will begin our journey back to the great fellowship we have all missed!
